MARKING SOLUTION
This company needed a custom marking solution to mark on vise grips, so Technomark implemented a Graphix laser marking station. The workstation was composed of three parts:
- The lower area is fitted with a fume extractor and a drawer where parts can be stored before and after marking.
- The upper area is a closed block with cycle, safety, and operator controls. The laser marking machine also has a screen for programming and file display.
- The upper left area is the active part of the station, equipped with a protected viewing window. The 10W fiber laser is mounted on an electric column for movement across the X and Y axes. This section of the machine contains the loading dock and can accommodate large or unwieldy parts.
The Graphix laser marking system can be operated manually or outfitted for automation to lower human error and increase productivity.
